Annual Exhibitions
Since 1995, every year at the end of November, José Duclos organizes the "Open House Event" at my studio. This exhibition coincides with the celebration of world watercolour day, inaugurated on November 23, 2001, by Mexican artist Alfredo Cati Rojo. To underline the occasion, many artists present watercolour demonstrations and exhibitions. Consult the calendar for dates and times.
Symposiums
A term of Greek origin meaning a friendly cultural gathering. In Québec, mainly in summer and fall, it has become a tradition in certain vacation spots for tourists to rub shoulders with artist-painters. It is a chance for artists to paint outdoors, to meet the public, to share ideas, and sell their work.

Demonstrations and Masterclass
To see José at work, consult her calendar regularly. In the artistic milieu there are many public, technical and artistic demonstrations. A demonstration may take place before or after a class, or may be part of a larger event, like the journées de la culture.
